After receiving a job offer from a Facebook admin, I went to meet them in person. As a freelancer, I consistently posted my projects online, creating an extensive portfolio that included not only the final products but also the entire process.

The agency owner took an interest in this and invited me for an interview. During our conversation at their office, we discussed general HR topics without delving into specifics. However, one incident significantly influenced my chances of getting hired.

While waiting in the office, I noticed an employee struggling with Photoshop. As a self-taught designer familiar with multiple methods to achieve results, I offered assistance and taught her an alternative approach. Later on, after joining the company, I learned that this act impressed the agency owner and played a role in securing my position.

In conclusion: always be observant during interviews as demonstrating your skills can create opportunities for success.
